He has also been continuously involved in education and human resource development connecting digital technology and social implementation.

Our extensive experience across industry, academia, and government is deeply aligned with JDACs philosophy of neutrality, verification, and social integrity.

In the future, Mr. Suzuki will help

JDACs in shaping its thinking and enhancing its social credibility by providing advice on digital strategy, DX and AI utilization from a third-party perspective.

Comment from Mr. Shotaro Suzuki

While digital technology has become an integral part of the infrastructure of government, business and society,

decisions regarding its implementation and utilization are becoming more sophisticated and complex every year.

As I myself have been involved in the evaluation of digital measures and DX promotion from both the public and private sectors, I have seen many situations where decision-making that proceeds without “a neutral point of view that is not biased toward any side” and “verifiability to explain the basis for decisions” can become a risk for the organization and society. We have seen many situations where decisions made without an “unbiased and neutral point of view” and “verifiability to explain the basis of the decision” can become a risk to the organization and society.

I feel that JDACs’ concept of evaluating and

advising digital strategies as a third party independent of interests is exactly the role needed in today’s society.

As an advisor, I would like to use the knowledge I have gained in public DX, technology standardization, and education to

contribute in some small way to the establishment of a culture of digital decision-making with more integrity and accountability in Japanese society.
